SmoothVideo Project (SVP) allows you to watch any video on your PC file with frame interpolation (like you can watch it on high-end TVs and projectors). It increases frame rate by generating intermediate animation frames between existing ones to produce very smooth, fluid and clear motion. The technology is well-known for a while ("TrimensionDNM", "Motion Plus", "Motionflow" and others), but now it's available for free to PC users with simple GUI and just a couple of mouse clicks.

Since version 3.0 SVP provides GPU acceleration and now it's possible to watch FullHD 1080p-video recalculated to 60Hz in real-time on any modern GPU hardware. Here is the speed comparsion (*) between CPU-only mode and GPU accelerated:

SVP actually is not a video player itself, but it enables almost any player to play smooth video.

Fixed: "The request is invalid in the current state" (C00D002B) errors when Tag Editor Plus applied tag changes to a file. These errors only occurred with certain languages set in Control Panel - Region and Language - Formats, for example with "German (Germany)". Zoom Player is a robust media and DVD front-end player. It was designed to be simple at first glance while being remarkably dynamic and flexible when used to its full potential. It works in two modes: a Media mode which can play any file supported by DirectShow (any file which plays in MediaPlayer) and a DVD mode which uses pre-installed DirectShow DVD filters to play DVD content. It supersedes media player in all it's functions and provides several important functions that media player lacks. It provides special zooming functions to improve TV-output quality by eliminating overscan.

  * The default fullscreen navigation interface has been replaced with a
    clean new style that looks better and extends the available thumbnail
    area to squeeze in more pixels.

  * The media library category thumbnail view will now darken the area
    behind the thumbnail's text or media icon depending on the skin's
    script and advanced options customization settings.

  * Zoom Player support for streaming radio station is now fully integrated

    As a work-around, Zoom Player introduced a new setting (Adv. Options /
    Interface / Fullscreen Navigation / Customization) that lets controls
    the font anti-aliasing mode used to render the fullscreen navigation text.

  * The Media Library's RSS feed plugin now caches previous entries that
    may no longer reside on the RSS feed and shows you cached entries
    even if the RSS feed server is temporarily down.

  * New "fnPLEraseFiles" function assigned to the Shift+"Delete"
    keyboard macro. When used it erases all selected files in the
    playlist to the window's Recycle Bin (with confirmation prompt).

  * New "fnOpenStreamInBrowser" function that opens the currently
    playing stream in a web browser (might be helpful for YouTube links).

Adding chapters using the chapter editor will now instantly show the chapter's position in the timeline (if timeline display is enabled).
Fixed a bug in countries with a comma decimal symbol where the media library thumbnails text height and spacing got truncated. For example: A thumbnail's Text Height of "1.95%" resulted in an actual text height of "1%".
