SmoothVideo Project (SVP) allows you to watch any video on your PC file with frame interpolation (like you can watch it on high-end TVs and projectors). It increases frame rate by generating intermediate animation frames between existing ones to produce very smooth, fluid and clear motion. The technology is well-known for a while ("TrimensionDNM", "Motion Plus", "Motionflow" and others), but now it's available for free to PC users with simple GUI and just a couple of mouse clicks.

Since version 3.0 SVP provides GPU acceleration and now it's possible to watch FullHD 1080p-video recalculated to 60Hz in real-time on any modern GPU hardware. Here is the speed comparsion (*) between CPU-only mode and GPU accelerated:

SVP actually is not a video player itself, but it enables almost any player to play smooth video.

The new version of ALLPlayer 7.1 is faster and lighter, it has built all current codecs that use hardware support for viewing videos, so the player will not have trouble opening any video file.

Fix for YouTube.
The option to delete files from the disk in the playlist is back but it’s disabled by default (you can enable it in Preferences -> Playlist -> Misc.
On Linux SMPlayer now uses a different web server, included in the packages, to serve files for Chromecast. If you installed the package webfs you can uninstall it now since SMPlayer won’t use it anymore.
New translation: Norwegian Bokmål.

Made CTL/ICC of monitor trigger a refresh of the view. Previously, the old values were kept until a refresh from other ways happened (switch to new frame, etc).

Bug fixed ImageMagick loader to work with different color spaces. This effects log colorspace as found in DPX images. Previously rgb layers would not appear and only VR360 would show up.
