Fixed playback being too fast on 4K video
Fixed video stores being kept too long and eating ton of memory. This improves playback of long movies and 4K movies. On Win32 when playing 4K movies, it may be needed to size the cache smaller.
Upgraded Windows compiling to MSVC 2015 Community on x64. Win32 uses the MSVC 2012 compiler. This potentially removes Windows NT and XP compatability
When mrViewer runs out of memory it will print an error into its message console, instead of crashing.
Bug fixed scrubbing on Windows 8.1. It works as a toggle now. You press SHIFT and enter scrub mode. Move the mouse left and right. You press CTRL and exit scrub mode. If you have preferences (.filmaura/mrViewer.prefs) saved, no change in scrubbing is made. If you want the new scrubbing, Untoggle Shift button and leave hotkey1 to LeftShift and hotkey2 to RightShift.

New option to send the audio to the specified audio device. It can be useful to send the audio to a TV via a HDMI cable or wireless headphones via bluetooth.
Some improvements on the playlist. Now it's possible to hide any column (right click to see the options). The search field is also hidden by default, a new search button shows/hides it. This changes are intended to prevent the playlist window to be too wide.

It is now possible to switch audio device in the Preferences window, Audio section on Windows. For Linux, the preferred way is to leave the setting as default and use the default system audio control (gnome-control-center). By default, the system default audio device is used.
In Windows, UNC network paths are now accepted. For example: //gga-desktop1/D/movies/test.mov They can be used from Drag and Drop. Currently, it is not possible to type or pick them in yourself.

SmoothVideo Project (SVP) allows you to watch any video on your PC file with frame interpolation (like you can watch it on high-end TVs and projectors). It increases frame rate by generating intermediate animation frames between existing ones to produce very smooth, fluid and clear motion. The technology is well-known for a while ("TrimensionDNM", "Motion Plus", "Motionflow" and others), but now it's available for free to PC users with simple GUI and just a couple of mouse clicks.

Since version 3.0 SVP provides GPU acceleration and now it's possible to watch FullHD 1080p-video recalculated to 60Hz in real-time on any modern GPU hardware. Here is the speed comparsion (*) between CPU-only mode and GPU accelerated:

SVP actually is not a video player itself, but it enables almost any player to play smooth video.

Zoom Player is a robust media and DVD front-end player. It was designed to be simple at first glance while being remarkably dynamic and flexible when used to its full potential. It works in two modes: a Media mode which can play any file supported by DirectShow (any file which plays in MediaPlayer) and a DVD mode which uses pre-installed DirectShow DVD filters to play DVD content. It supersedes media player in all it's functions and provides several important functions that media player lacks. It provides special zooming functions to improve TV-output quality by eliminating overscan.

New Advanced Options page that controls Zoom Player's behavior when a monitor is attached or detached, when Windows 10's tablet mode is enabled or disabled and when a 2 in 1 laptop's screen is docked or undocked. Fixes:

The media library's thumbnail memory cache was cleared when switching between categories if new category used a different thumbnail resolution.
Some JPEG images with either embedded as Album art or with a mislabeled file extension were not properly recognized as valid JPEG images and were not used/shown.
Depending on the function assigned to the left mouse button, clicking a hot-corner may activate both the hot-corner functionality and the functionality assigned to the left mouse button (instead of only triggering the hot corner action).
Closing Zoom Player while the playlist was retrieving the duration of media files prevented Zoom Player from closing properly.
Pressing on the "disabled" subtitle entry when it was already selected incorrectly displayed an "Unknown error" message.
