Turns out Microsoft hasn't updated their default secure connection settings since 2006, so some systems (including Windows 10) will fail to automatically download the update
If you run into this issue, you will be prompted to visit the TweetDuck website and download the update manually
For full installs, the installation folder is detected automatically
For portable installs, download the Portable version and install it into the same directory
