Where can I see the framerate under SmartDVB?

I have a ATI 5850 and the ts I recorded from ZDF HD has 50 FPS

It is a combination of Cyberlink + DXVA. There are no difficulties with LAV Codec and ZDF. Here with DVBViewer.

ich wollte nachfragen, ob es bald eine neuere Version von SmartDVB gibt.
Leider gibt es keine Möglichkeit, sich im offiziellen Forum teilzunehmen, da der Admin die Aktivierung auf manuell gestellt hat, und nach vielen Wochen das Konto noch nicht aktiviert hat. Leider reagiert Entwickler auch nicht auf E-Mails.

Anbei gibt es von mir eine deutschsprachige Übersetzung, wobei die Sprachdatei nicht komplett übersetzt werden konnte, da die eigentliche Ressource dafür fehlte, von daher konnten einige Zeichenketten nicht übersetzt werden.

Anbei die übersetzte Sprachdatei für Version 0.2.5.1 als MSI-Installation, gepackt als ZIP-Datei.

hi about the smartdvb.net forum, for some time i've been unable to access that and register new users (php mail is not working). I'm afraid to say that server space belongs to someone who has a vested interest in me not being able to get on working on this (server space is from my father and i'm not communicating with him more)..(oder wenn sie kein english verstehen, ich kann leider zeit einiger zeit niet mehr beim forum und mails arbeiten nicht).

Hmm, I can't translate any strings in German because I translate with Lingobit Localizer but some strings are missing and will be displayed in English.
Do you have the source code for localization that I can all translate with WinRes or similar?

SmartDVB 0.2.5.1 has in Windows 7 and 8 any bugs and some functions are missing.

ehhr, no not, i'm sure that man has stolen my source last year and has been cooperating with who knows who to break me down (probably psychiatrists/police, difficult to believe perhaps but so it is), so i can't see that as family, just the most greedy man on the world and someone who even betrays his own son...
can't provide source, but if you tell me which strings need to be placed in res, i might have missed those...
bugs sound odd to me, about the fullscreen did you try different codecs for that, and which renderer are u using?
if by 'change settings at codecs' you mean change codecs, you can, use the connection menu popup for that, or tools > settings > connection

No, I think he wants to change the settings of a specific codec (for example the settings of the ffdshow codec): Right-Click in the "Movie-Part" of the window --> Filters --> Codec (the list of codecs that are in use).

Yes, you've right, settings for a specific codec In DVBDream, that I not more use, because it's only a test version and to much buggy, but for the specified codec are settings possible    It's not easy to say for missing strings, but e.g.

couldn't translate. OSD menü is also in English.

I used the same codecs at Win 7 & 8, but stable is "Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder" & "Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder", for H.264 I can use only DivX    and other codecs wouldn't really work. Problem with fullscreen is only in Win 8.

Hmm, I´ve forgotten to say, when I choose all satellites, I use a rotor, SmartDVB crash, I can´t display all satellites. Aspect ratio doesn´t change automatically. When I use EventGhost, some functions doesn´t work, e.g. Teletext, EPG, recording, therefore my wish for adding x10 support for proper function and easy use.

No Drag'n'Drop for sort channels.

do you know off some api for that remote (i do recall seeing some api long time ago)?
It's odd that not more codecs work for u, i have win7 and lots of others without much issues, u have more clues about that?.

about the crash, you could send logs (smartdvb.log and bda.log , if ur using bda.dev and not bdas.dev), but don't think that'll help much tbh, never heard of that before too.

odd that those remote function don't work for u, other do? (same kb routine there). But if i don't get killed by the police here in holland i do want to update the remote part of smartdvb (including osd). I might need some trusted testers for that when the time arrives (but expect bugs then it probably won't even be alpha)..
drag and drop is not possible atm (just the channel list sort options). That's also a feature that could be added ofcourse i thought of that (also adding lists for example, so you simply create new lists for whatever u want like some other programs also have, not that difficult to do with sqlite, which smartdvb uses for all data)

thanks for this nice tool! I'm using the latest (final) version of SmartDVB (Win7 Prof. 64bit) and it works fine except ARD HD which causes SmartDVB to crash within seconds. Looking at the log-files I cann't detect any problems (see below). Altdvb (installed on the same machine) has no problems with playing ARD HD, so I don't think it's a HW-problem.

If you find some spare time to devote to improvements of SmartDVB then I would like to see SmartDVB running without being administrator. This should be not a problem if you move SmartDVB settings to a subfolder of ProgramData which can be made accessible to all users.

@cosmonaut: when exact does the fullscreen switch fail? (there are verious paths). On remote or normal operation?

I tried hard but I couldn't replicate the crash the next day. I read some articles about ATI cards having problems with rendering H264 broadcasted by BBC. Since I watched the Paralympics, do have a Radeon card, and SmartDVB uses EVR that supports HW-rendering (in contrast to AltDVB) this might be an explanation.
