Das kostenlose WSCC - Windows System Control Center bündelt eine Vielzahl praktischer Systemwerkzeuge für PCs von Windows 2000 bis Windows 7. Der Systemspezialist vereint Tools aus den populären Werkzeugkästen von NirSoft Utilities und Sysinternals.

Eigentlich bringt WSCC keine eigenen Anwendungen mit. Die Freeware packt dafür Hunderte von Systemtools in eine Programmoberfläche und sortiert sie sinnvoll. Über eine praktische Updatefunktion bleiben Anwender zudem immer auf dem neuesten Stand.

Im Detail stehen System Tools für alle Belange bereit: Festplatte, Netzwerk, Windows-Darstellung, Codec-Verwaltung und Passwort-Wiederherstellung für Netzwerk, Messenger & Co. sind nur einige der Administrationsmöglichkeiten im Windows System Control Center. Jede einzelne Anwendung wird übrigens erst dann installiert, wenn sie benötigt wird - das hält die Windows Registry schlank und spart Zeit beim Anwender.

Für Freunde der Sysinternals- und NirSoft-Pakete ist WSCC definitiv eine runde Sache. Schlank, simpel in der Anwendung und wirklich umfassend sind nur drei der Prädikate, die die Freeware Windows System Control Center empfehlenswert machen.

Restore Point Creator is a lightweight and easy-to-use application that was designed to help you restore the system to an early state using the existing restore points. You can also create new ones and personalize them by adding a specific description to each of them.

Added a new repair "Restore Windows 8 COM+ Unmarshalers" Starting in Windows 8 the COM+ depends on a set of registry keys located under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Unmarshalers\System
There is a bug in Windows 8 where those registry keys are sometimes removed, which when they are COM+ will no longer function and many things in windows stop working including audio, Windows Defender, Windows Firewall, WMI and many more.
When these keys are restored COM+ functions again. These registry keys where not in older versions of Windows and is new to Windows 8.

Updated Repair Registry Permissions

The tree view on the repair window now takes on the colors set for the text boxes and lists instead of the program back and text colors.

Changed the default color theme to make the text boxes and lists a little darker than pure white.
