AdwCleaner versucht Adware, Toolbars und eine veränderte Homepage im Browser zu entfernen. Dazu wird zuerst ein Suchlauf gestartet und im Anschluss erhält man eine TXT-Datei mit den Ergenissen angezeigt. Sollten mehrere Sachen gefunden werden, kann man leider nicht einzeln auswählen, was gelöscht werden soll. Einzig vor dem Suchlauf hat man die Möglichkeit, bestimmte Sachen auszuschließen.
