Each time that you run an application in your system, a Prefetch file which contains information about the files loaded by the application is created by Windows operating system. The information in the Prefetch file is used for optimizing the loading time of the application in the next time that you run it.

WinPrefetchView is a small utility that reads the Prefetch files stored in your system and display the information stored in them. By looking in these files, you can learn which files every application is using, and which files are loaded on Windows boot.

Tweaking.com - Hardware Identify will help identify unknown hardware on your system. This program does not help you download drivers but helps let you know what the hardware is so you know what drivers to find. Portable version also available.

For example say you just reinstalled a computer and the device manager shows multiple unknown hardware with no drivers installed. Well you don't know what drivers to find since you don't know what the hardware is. Now with Tweaking.com - Hardware Identify you can see what that hard is.

Updated the improve database function. The program has always asked users to only submit English results, which no one seems to read or care about lol. So I made a function to remove devices that have non English words in them since the database is English only. The function works by looking for keywords which are in a text file with the program. As I update the keyword list it will get updated along with the database. This way I don't have to release a new version just to update the keywords.

Sollten mehrere Sachen gefunden werden, kann man leider nicht einzeln auswählen, was gelöscht werden soll. Einzig vor dem Suchlauf hat man die Möglichkeit, bestimmte Sachen auszuschließen. Dazu klickt man oben Links auf das Fragezeichen->Optionen.
