Vorbei die Zeit unübersichtlicher Filesharing-Tools, bei denen man schon beim Start des Programms mit einem Bein im Knast stand. MP3jam bricht das ganze aufs Einfachste herunter und erlaubt es trotzdem, Massen an Musiktitel schnell auf die eigene Festplatte zu schaufeln.

Und so geht's: Einfach Interpret, Titel oder Album in die Suchzeile eingeben und schon bekommen Sie säuberlich geordnet alle Musiktitel, die MP3jam auf Videoplattformen wie YouTube gefunden hat. Jetzt genügt ein Klick auf den Play-Button, um sich den Song anzuhören.

Um einen einzelnen Song herunterzuladen, klicken Sie einfach auf die Download-Buttons. Die gewünschte Musik wird in einem beliebigen Verzeichnis auf der Festplatte gespeichert und kann über den Tab »Downloads« auch gleich in MP3jam abgespielt werden.

added support for AV1 videos on Youtube. These are MP4 DASH videos encoded using next-gen AOMedia Video 1 (AV1) codec. Currently supported only remuxing i.e. it can be downloaded in Simple and Advanced modes. In Convert Mode it will be automatically skipped because there are no codec for it in ffmpeg 3.x milestone. Switch to ffmpeg 4.x is planned in next major release. Reminder: remuxing is lossless operation for the quality unlike transcoding which is always lossy for the video quality

You can use youtube-dl for downloading videos from YouTube.com and a few more sites. It does require the Python interpreter, version 2.6, 2.7, or 3.2+, and it is not platform-specific. It should work on your Unix box, Windows or on macOS.
