Comodo Dragon baut auf dem Google Chrome Browser auf wurde aber in einigen Dingen abgeändert. Alles was es an Datenübertragung zu Google gab, wurde aus diesem Browser entfernt. Weiterhin werden ungültige SSL-Zertifikate, Cookies und andere Webspione erkannt und geblockt.

Während der Installation können Lesezeichen, Cookies und Passwörter übernommen werden, zusätzlich kann man noch die Comodo-DNS-Server zur Internetnutzung auswählen. So sollen mit Malware verseuchte Seiten nicht mehr aufgerufen werden können.

Microsoft Edge Browser Support in Sandbox: Edge browser is now fully supported in Sandbox for all versions of Windows 10, including latest creators update.
Crash Reporting: Comodo Cloud Antivirus will detect crash of one of it's applications and offer user to upload crash and other diagnostic data by showing dialog as shown in enclosed snap Crash_Reporting.png
Improved Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUA) Detection: We have created a back-end infrastructure that is analyzing domains in the wild and able to classify some of domains as PUA do.mains, which are short lived and mainly generate PUA files. You will see such detection via that cloud driven heuristic as shown in enclosed snap: PUA_Detection.png.
Copy any shortcuts created by Sandboxed applications to my desktop: This check box is present under Sandbox settings. This feature has been enabled by default. Now you have a control over this and can de-select if you don't want that default behavior.

Controlling Network Activity of Sandboxed Applications: As a first towards providing some form of network control over applications running in Sandbox, we have introduced following two check boxes under Sandbox settings:

Block incoming connections to Sandboxed applications.
Block outgoing connections from Sandboxed applications.

Fixes:

"Ask for Unknown Applications" setting in Sandbox was not working as expected in Windows 10 Creators update.
Sometime setups couldn't be cancelled in Sandbox as reported here.You should be able to cancel now. Please report if you still come across cases where setup can't be cancelled.

Improvements:

Sandbox alert layout has been changed as per following wishlist item.
Jump to Folder: When you see file path listing, this option was not available in some of places e.g. "Being Analyzed" section, now you should see it across all places.

Comodo Dragon v58 has the Chromium v58 codebase with improved security.
In this new version we have improved the H264, HTML5 and Flash videos playback speed.
The hardware acceleration feature comes default disabled, but it can be easily enabled by unticking the 'Disable hardware acceleration' checkbox in the Comodo Dragon settings. This feature is recommended only for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1. On Windows 10, it is recommended to use this feature only if the Creators Edition Updates haven't been installed.

- When you install CIS afresh, Secure Shopping section in it will not have default websites list. You can always configure a new website and will be alerted. At the moment we do not have remember choice option in those alerts and thus was inconvenient.

Since last couple of CCAV builds we have an exclusion rule in Sandbox settings for Windows Apps. There have been initial versions of CCAV, which didn't have this rule to begin with and also when updated, didn't get this rule in it and due to that some of latest CCAV versions also see Windows applications in Sandbox. This update ensures that exclusion rule is in place.

Fileless Malware Support:

Like CIS, now CCAV also has support for file less malware. You can find related settings under "Settings-->Advanced Protection-->Miscellaneous" as "Do heuristic command line analysis...".

Password Protection:

Now you have password protection feature available and can be accessed via "Settings --> General Settings --> User Interface".

Enhanced Virus Scope:

In this version, CCAV will be providing base support for additional events allowing VirusScope modules to detect more complex malware.

System-restart reminder upon update:

Many users update CCAV but do not re-start system and thus remains unprotected. We have introduced a reminder alert in case user does not re-start system upon update.

Emergency update:

Like CIS, we have introduced emergency update in this CCAV version. If existing "Settings --> General Settings --> Updates --> Automatically install program updates..." option is selected and if there is serious incompatibility in latest Windows, CCAV will be auto updated to latest version to avoid any bad user experience. You will see alert in post update scenario. This feature will be used only in critical situations.
