Password Safe is a password database for storing sensitive information in an encrypted form until the correct master password is entered. The database is encrypted with the Twofish encryption algorithm. You can copy a password into the clipboard and paste it directly into your application. Alternate Password DB is a small and easy to use utility that can safely store all your passwords. With only one password you get access to the crypted data (BLOWFISH 256 bit).

The following entry types are available :
· Simple text
· Username/Password with comment
· Files (for example pictures)
· Tables

This entries can be stored in folders and subfolders. Cut/Copy/Paste of these entries are possible. Password files can be converted to an executable file, which can be ported on USB-stick or other moveable drives without the need to install this program.

You may also configure the program to lock itselft after period of time (main password will be required again). So your data will still be safe while the program is running and you have to leave your PC.

The entered data is crypted by saving and only accessable using a user defined password.

At the left there is a treeview, where elements (folders, subfolders, text-entries, keys, tables, files) can be added, modified or removed. At the right you find the content of the currently selected element.

Password Manager Lite is a free, simple password manager and generator available as an installer or a portable app. Often when you see the word Lite used, that means that there's a professional version you have to pay for. In this case, Lite refers to the fact that the program is simple, easy to use, with no learning curve.

Before exiting, you can protect your passwords from prying eyes by choosing a key color, encryption method, and pin code. The next time you open Password Manager Lite, click on File > Open File to use your pin to see your passwords.

When logging into a website, you can also click on copy to copy your password to paste it without anyone seeing it. You will find the copy option in other places in the app.
