Ant Movie Catalog helps to manage your collection of movies DVDs, CDs and tapes. It is able to import information from IMDB (US), DVDFR (FR), Allociné (FR), Culturalia (ES) and lots of others using scripts. It also imports media information such as codec, bitrates, resolution, framerate, and size, and exports to HTML, CSV and SQL. You can store cover pictures directly within the catalog, or link to external images files in PNG, JPEG and GIF formats. Additional features include loan management and statistics charts.

The only change compared to the beta version is a minor fix in the loans management window, and the inclusion of latest scripts in the installation package.

In addition to the TLS 1.2 support (which should solve HTTPS problems encountered lately on a few sites) this version also includes the latest MediaInfo version.
I also cleaned the import/export list by removing some obsolete formats.
Updated scripts for DVDFR, FilmAffinity and MovieCovers are included.
The latest version of MediaInfo does not seem to run on Windows XP any more (to be tested/confirmed, I don't know if that was already the case of the previous versions). In case the lack of Windows XP support is a problem for some users, I could try to arrange something to support both old and new versions of the library, as the interface didn't change, only the version numbering.
I still didn't reimplement the GetCookies & DeleteCookies functions for the scripts, as none of the published scripts were using them, and it was less easy than expected to bring these back in Indy version 10.

Tag repository update processing now saves progress to disk every million rows or every minute, whichever comes first. this reduces journaling bloat, improves recovery when the process quits unexpectedly, and makes for significantly faster cancel when requested by the user
When processing duplicates and copying/merging/moving ratings, the 'source' file will now also overwrite the 'destination' file's rating if that destination rating is lower (previously, the rating would only go over if the dest had no rating set)
Added a new 'thumbnail experiment mode' under help->debug->gui. this will load fullsize thumbs and resize them in memory, please see release post for more details

Improved memory cleanup stability when animations and other parts of the video rendering pipeline are deleted--this may fix some rare crashes
Increased animation rendering aggression overall and particularly in 'future' of frame buffer
If a video renderer that is asked to start some way into the video fails to render anything, it will now fall back to trying to render from the beginning. this is slightly hacky atm and leads to out of phase rendering frames, but it is better than an error
added a '--no_db_temp_files' launch parameter that will force the client or server to return to the recent old behaviour of exclusively using memory for journalling. this is useful if your temp directory is small and/or your available ram is very large. if running in this mode, the client will attempt to check available memory (instead of free space on your temp dir) before performing very large transactions
With the new lighter-weight update transactions, the client now tests for less free space for journalling before running repository update processing
Added /get_files/search_files to the client api, which does the first half of file searching. it allows tag search (including -tag negation) and system inbox/archive. since the second half, which will fetch file metadata, is not yet in, this can't do anything interesting yet
Updated help and unit tests to support this, client api version is now 3

EMDB is a small utility to keep track of your DVD collection. With an automatic import from the database of IMDB, export to csv, text or complete website, thumbnail cover preview, a loan tracker, search function and multi-language user interface. EMDB is written in C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and doesn't need a .NET framework or any other external libraries.
