Die Entwickler von Aircrack-ng haben zwei neue Versionen ihrer WLAN-Sicherheitstestsuite veröffentlicht. In der stabilen Version 0.9.2 unterstützt airmon-ng im Wesentlichen ein paar Treiber mehr als der Vorgänger und behebt einige Macken, airodump-ng kann nun mit 5-GHz-Kanälen umgehen und aireplay-ng unter Linux nun auch mit der Echtzeituhr reden. Auch die instabile Version 1.0 wurde auf Beta2 aktualisiert. Für das Cracken von WPA mittels einer Wörterbuch-Attacke benötigt aircrack-ng nur noch zwei WPA-Pakete statt vier. Datenbanken legt airolib nun selbstständig an. Zudem soll sich die Beta-Version mit mehr gcc-Versionen übersetzen lassen als zuvor.

Anwender können mit aircrack-ng die Sicherheit ihrer Access-Points testen und WEP-Schlüssel innerhalb kurzer Zeit knacken – unabhängig von der Komplexität des Schlüssels. Bei WPA lässt sich immerhin noch die Qualität des Passwortes testen. Wenn es gut gewählt ist, kommt auch aircrack mit einer Wörterbuchattacke nicht in endlicher Zeit dahinter. Allerdings könnte der Umgang in Deutschland mit dem so genannten Hackerparagraphen in Konflikt geraten.

Wir sind ja hier ein aufgeschlossenes forum^^ Deswegen die Frage mit Problem: In meinen Laptop steckt eine Intel Wireless WiFi link 4965AGN drin. Die Treiber dafür gibt es nur für linux... Gibt es zur Zeit eine Live-CD mit der man sowas einfach mal "antesten" kann? Linux ist einfach nicht so meine Welt...

Aircrack-ng, eine Sammlung von Anwendungen zum Analysieren und Penetrieren von Funknetzwerken, ist in Version 1.0 veröffentlicht worden. Seit dem Erscheinen der letzten stabilen Version 0.9.3 sind fast 19 Monate vergangen.

Verglichen mit den Versionen 0.9.x wurde Aircrack 1.0 um eine ganze Reihe neuer Werkzeuge ergänzt. Mit wesside-ng lassen sich Wep-verschlüsselte Funknetze mit nur einem Befehl knacken, was dank der an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt entwickleten PTW2-Attacke in unter zwei Minuten erledigt sein kann. easside-ng und buddy-ng sind ein Werkzeugpaar für die Entschlüsselung von Wep-Frames in Echtzeit und airserv-ng ist ein Wlan-Kartenserver, welcher verschiedenen Wlan-Applikationen die Nutzung von Wlan-Karten nach dem Client-Server-Prinzip ermöglicht. Die Anwendungen sind somit nicht darauf angewiesen, die Logik für Wlan-Karten und Treiber implementiert haben zu müssen. airolib-ng greift auf Hash-Tabellen zurück, um WPA- und WPA2-verschlüsselte Netzwerke zu knacken und airdecloak-ng entfernt WEP-cloaked-Frames aus pcap-Dateien. Mittels airbase-ng kann ein AP aufgebaut werden, welcher die ESSID anderer APs übernimmt und ahnungslose Clients in die Falle lockt, tkip-tun injeziert Frames in Netzwerke mit WPA TKIP-Verschlüsselung und QoS.

Airodump-ng bekam eine --berlin-Option spendiert, ist diese aktiviert, werden APs, von denen keine Pakete mehr empfangen werden, nicht mehr angezeigt. --showack gibt ACK-Statistiken aus und mittels -r kann airodump-ng Pakete aus pcap-Dateien ziehen. Zudem beginnt airodump-ng bereits nach fünf Sekunden (früher 20 Sekunden) damit, seine Daten in Textdateien zu schreiben. Aircrack-ng wurde um eine passive PTW-Attacke ergänzt, welche auch IP-Pakete nutzt und bevor damit begonnen wird, 104bit-WEP-Schlüssel zu knacken, versucht es aircrack-ng mit 1.000 40bit-Schlüsseln. SSE2 wird ebenfalls unterstüzt, womit Attacken gegen WPA-gesicherte Netze beschleunigt werden.

Das Injektionstool aireplay-ng bekam eine BSSID/ESSID-Detection spendiert, so dass nur noch ein Parameter von beiden angegeben werden muss, und soll Wlan-Netzen die Pakete mit einer angepassten Rate einimpfen. Mit der neu implementierten Caffe-Latte-Attacke kann es Broadcast-ARP-Anfragen verwenden und die ebenfalls neue CFrag-Attacke wandelt jedes IP- und ARP-Paket in eine ARP-Anfrage gegen den Client um.

Aircrack 1.0 unterstützt Sniffing auf OpenBSD und kann besser WDS-Architekturen (Wlan-Netze mit Repeatern) umgehen. Alle Änderungen können im Changelog nachgelesen werden, die neue Version kann für Linux, Mac OS X und Windows im Download-Bereich der Website heruntergeladen werden. Wer Aircrack herunterladen und einsetzen möchte, sollte den § 202c des deutschen Strafgesetzbuches, den sogenannten Hackerparagrafen, nicht vergessen.

Die Aircrack-ng-Entwickler haben eine neue Version ihres Softwaresuite zum Ausspähen von WEP- und WPA-PSK-Keys veröffentlicht. Die Version 1.1 enthält neben vielen Fehlerbereingungen und Verbesserungen auch das neue Werkzeug airdrop-ng.

Das neue in Aircrack-ng enthaltene Programm airdrop-ng ist ein De-Authentifizierungswerkzeug, das in Python geschrieben wurde. Mit Airdrop-ng lassen sich Verbindungen zu Access-Points (AP) erlauben oder verbieten, indem ESSID, BSSID oder OUI (Organizationally Unique Identifier) der MAC-Adresse auf AP-Ebene oder MAC-Adressen bzw. OUI auf Clientebene als Argumente verwendet werden. Ein Video  von der Shmoocon Washington 2010 zeigt, wie airdrop-ng eingesetzt werden kann. Airodump-ng wurde um Interaktionen  erweitert und kann während der Laufzeit durch Drücken vordefinierter Tasten beeinflusst werden.

Airtun-ng, ein Werkzeug zum Erzeugen virtueller Tunnelschnittstellen, unterstützt jetzt WDS (Wireless Distributed Systems) und Bridges. Alle weiteren Änderungen können im Changelog der Softwaresammlung eingesehen werden. Aircrack-ng 1.1 für Linux und MS Windows ist im Downloadbereich des Projekts verfügbar.

Aircrack-ng ist ein Fork von Aircrack, der um viele Features erweitert wurde und mehr WLAN-Karten und -Treiber als das Original unterstützt. Neben dem WEP- und WPA-Cracker enthält die Softwaresammlung auch einen Sniffer, einen Paket-Injektor, um schnell viel Traffic zu erzeugen, eine Serveranwendung, um die Wlan-Karten entfernter Rechner für eine Sicherheitsüberprüfung nutzen zu können, und Tkiptun-ng, eine Anwendung zum Attackieren von WLAN-Netzen mit WPA/TKIP.

We're bringing more good stuff in this release. We've been busy fixing bugs left and right, some of them thanks to Coverity Scan, valgrind and other static code analyzers.
We've also refactored some of the code and improved the code quality along the way. We can now successfully build across lot of platforms (Windows, Linux, BSD, OSX) and CPU architectures (x86 and 64 bit, ARM v7, ARM v8, PowerPC, etc).
The most notable changes are in Aircrack-ng. It gets a speed bump in most CPU architectures we support, the ability to pause/restore cracking session and using HCCAPx files.
