ASF Editor is a Direct Stream editor for ASF and WMV and WMA files. It uses the command-line version of Asfbin for processing so it can be considered as a frontend for Asfbin. It uses two parts for editing: the player and the recorder. You open files in the player then you mark parts of the media (preferably on key frames) and record the parts with the help of the recorder.

The recorder can join parts from other files that you open in the player during the editing process. In the end, you can save your files on the recorder part. You can get a fullscreen preview by double clicking the video windows. Mouse wheel and right mouse button can be used to rewind/forward and play/stop.

Simple x264/x265 Launcher is a lightweight front-end for the x264 H.264/AVC as well as the x265 H.265/HEVC encoder, based on the Qt toolkit. It uses the 64-Bit version of x264 with the 32-Bit version of Avisynth. That lets you use 32-Bit Avisynth plug-ins (e.g. DGDecodeNV) and still benefit from the speed improvements of 64-Bit x264. Optionally you can also use 64-Bit Avisynth, which is still considered experimental, if desired, as well as x264's built-in LAVF/FFMS input.

Includes full batch encoding support for running several encoding jobs in parallel.

VSDC ist eine Videoschnitt- und Bearbeitungssoftware, die einen beachtlichen Funktionsumfang mit sich bringt (Einarbeitung nötig). Als Ausgangsmaterial werden alle gängigen Formate unterstützt (MP4, AVI, MOV, DIVX, MKV, MPG...). Ebenso können eigene Bilder in die Videos integriert werden. Video- und Audioeffekte werden bereitgestellt und die Videos lassen sich in mehreren Spuren anordnen und bearbeiten.
Fertige Projekte können exportiert werden, bzw. auch direkt eine DVD erstellt werden. Gleichzeitig gibt es bereits vorhandene Profile um die Projekte für die XBox, iPod oder Smartphones zu exportieren.

Bei der Installation sollte die benutzerdefinierte Installation gewählt werden und man die entsprechenden Zusatzprogramme abwählen. Ansonsten bekommt man noch ein paar zusätzliche Programme installiert.

v4.0.0 builds for Windows and macOS now available below. Windows installations + upgrades via Chocolatey should be working in 24-48 hrs pending package approval.

All Arch Linux and LaunchPad PPAs have been updated since 24 hours now so should have it already if you've applied updates.

The usual repositories and places for Fedora (copr + UnitedRPMs) and openSUSE (OBS; just search for DEV builds via the main software search).

Am having some major issues producing an AppImage that works on something as old as Ubuntu Trusty and work with all the new features. AppImage should be resolved with a day or two and available here and other usual places...

I have no time to produce a ChangeLog unfortunately, will have that done over the next day or two along with all else.

Thanks, will start trekking through the issues lists once this it out of the way.

LosslessCut is a simple, Open Source, cross-platform video editor for lossless trimming and cutting of videos. This utility is useful for rough processing large video files captured with video cameras, drones, GoPro, etc. Tiy will be able to quickly pull out the good parts of a video and disregard the rest without losing a bit of quality.

LosslessCut omits any encoding or decoding to keep the cutting process fast and efficient. It supports most common cutting formats, but since it's Chromium-based (HTML video player), you will find that not all FFmpeg formats are supported. The following formats and codecs should work without issue MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, OGG, WAV, MP3, AAC, H264, Theora, VP8, VP9.
