Der Zwischenspeicher unter Windows ist bekanntlich leider allzu spartanisch und flüchtig. Wer auf bestimmte Inhalte zugreifen möchte, kommt meist zu spät. CopyQ verspricht Abhilfe, erweitert den Funktionsumfang des Zwischenspeichers und sorgt dafür, dass der Anwender auch zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt alle in die Zwischenablage kopierten Texte und Bilder weiterhin parat hat.

Nützlich ist die in CopyQ integrierte Such- und Bearbeitungsfunktion für alle in den Zwischenspeicher kopierten Elemente. Für Übersicht sorgen die konfigurierbaren Tabs. Mit der Notizfunktion kann man einzelne Texte oder Bilder zusätzlich kommentieren. Einzelne, nicht mehr benötigte Elemente lassen sich jederzeit aus der Liste beseitigen.

CopyQ bietet als erweiterte Zwischenablage all das, was man an den Standard-Bordmitteln vermisst. Es handelt sich um ein nützliches Tool für den Arbeits-Alltag, das beliebige Phrasen, Bilder oder andere Elemente in festlegbaren Kategorien festhält. So dient die Freeware auch bestens als Textbaustein-Datenbank.

Sie müssen nur durch Scannen oder Fotografieren eine Bilddatei erzeugen, bcTester erkennt dann darauf die Barcodes.
Sie öffnen ein Bild (tif, jpg, pdf Datei) und starten "Barcode erkennen". Die Software sucht die charakteristischen Merkmale der Barcodes im Bild und dekodiert die Inhalte. Ein herkömmlicher Strichcode (eindimensionaler Barcode) enthält in der Regel recht kurze Informationen wie Artikelnummern.
