Mit bcTester können Barcodes gelesen werden, die sich in Bilddateien oder Adobe PDF Dokumenten befinden. Sowohl die herkömmlichen Strichcodes (lineare Barcodes) als auch die moderneren 2D (zweidimensionale) Barcodes können erkannt werden. Entdecken Sie, was in den Barcodes verschlüsselt ist!

Sie müssen nur durch Scannen oder Fotografieren eine Bilddatei erzeugen, bcTester erkennt dann darauf die Barcodes.
Sie öffnen ein Bild (tif, jpg, pdf Datei) und starten "Barcode erkennen". Die Software sucht die charakteristischen Merkmale der Barcodes im Bild und dekodiert die Inhalte. Ein herkömmlicher Strichcode (eindimensionaler Barcode) enthält in der Regel recht kurze Informationen wie Artikelnummern.

Ein moderner zweidimensionaler Barcode wie Aztec, QR Code, Data Matrix oder PDF417 kann viel mehr Informationen verschlüsseln, z.B. neben einer Artikelnummer auch noch die Chargenbezeichnung, das Haltbarkeitsdatum und das Gewicht eines Produkts.

DSpeech is a text-to-speech program with the option of saving the output to a variety of formats, great for creating audio books from text sources. It also supports dynamically changing the features of the voices eg. insert pauses, emphasize specific words, spell them out etc. using tags.

The program can import text from TXT, DOC, DOCX, RTF, HTML, XML, and PDF and output to MP3, OGG, AAC, WMA.

DSpeech works out-of-the-box on WinXP and above because the Microsoft speech engine SAPI5 is included by default. For WinNT/2K, you will need to install the speech engine separately. You will find links to plugins, speech engines and voice sets on the program website.

FontViewOK sorgt für schnellen Überblick auch bei großen Beständen installierter Schriften am PC. Die Freeware startet ohne jede Installation, kann also auch portabel von USB-Sticks aus genutzt werden.

Der in FontViewOK eingebaute Schriftenbetrachter zeigt nach dem Programmstart eine Liste aller vorhandener Fonts mitsamt einer Schriftprobe an. Balabolka is a feature-rich program to read text aloud from a variety of file types including DOC, RTF, PDF, ODT, FB2 and HTML. The program uses Microsoft's own Speech API 4 and 5, but lets you fine tune various voice parameters, including rate and pitch, and a substitution list can also be applied to improve the quality of the voice's articulation. The program supports customized font and background color, skins, control reading from the system tray or by the global hotkeys.

Balabolka can also save the synchronized text to external LRC files or in MP3 tags inside the audio files. When the audio file is played with players on a computer or on modern digital audio players, the text will be displayed synchronously (in the same way as lyrics for songs).
