What's unique about Snap2HTML is that the HTML file uses modern techniques to make it feel more like a "real" application, similar to Windows Explorer, displaying a treeview with folders that you can click to view the files contained within.

ReNamer Lite is a small and flexible file renaming tool that offers all the standard renaming procedures, including prefixes, suffixes, replacements, case changes. It can also remove brackets, add number sequences, remove digits or symbols, change file extensions and much more. Multiple renaming actions can be combined into a rule set.

The program supports meta tags such as ID3v1, ID3v2, EXIF, OLE etc to rename files based on available metadata.

Note: The "lite" (freeware) version is limited to 5 presets and 5 rules.

Und noch mal schnell ein paar Korrekturen nachgeschoben.

Bereits in der letzten Programmversion wurde ein Fehler korrigiert, dass Änderungen im Eingabedialog einer Person im Navigator nicht übernommen wurden. Wie ich allerdings schnell feststellen musste, funktionierte das nicht im Eingabemodus „einfach“. Dieses wird mit dieser Version kurzerhand nachgezogen.

Weiterhin noch eine Korrektur im Personenblatt bei Darstellung von Taufpaten und Trauzeugen wenn Personenverweise statt reinem Text verwendet werden. Diese werden jetzt besser zusammengefasst.

Wer nicht warten will, bis Ahnenblatt die neue Version von sich aus anbietet: über „? / Nach Update suchen…“ lässt sich ein sofortiges Update auf die neue Version durchführen.

Shutter lets you perform an action when a user-specified event occurs. The event could be timer countdown, a certain time trigger, low CPU usage, user inactive, low battery etc. The action could be shutdown, reboot, logoff, lock workstation, sleep, hibernate etc. It is also able to play a custom sound and/or run a program of your choice, in addition to displaying a user-configurable message. A web interface is also available that permits remote execution of one of a list of actions.

Note: the developer has added limitations in recent "Lite" versions of his software. Shutter is limited to 5 presets, events, and actions.
