Thema: Grabber für KNC1 DVB-S

Hallo zusammen,

Vor ner Neuinstallation von Windows hatte ich ProgDVB mit FileGraber am Start. War eigentlich ein ziemlich gutes Programm.
Nachdem nun ProgDVB bei mir nichmer funzt würd ich gern auf einen anderen Grabber umsteigen (falls es so was gibt...!). Hat jemand Erfahrungen mit der KNC1? Oder gibt es ein Plugin für MyTheatre bzw MultiDec??

Hallo,

nach Mißbrauch der Suchfunktion bin ich zu folgender persönlicher Erkenntnis gekommen:
für dies Karte gibt's ja fast garnichts. ProgDVB läuft wohl nur mit dem BDA Treiber.
Und da würde ich an deiner Stelle ansetzen. Diesen installieren und wenn ProgDVB dann läuft durchtesten was geht. Filegraber war ja leider nicht so leistungsfähig, skynet als "standalone" ist eine feine Sache, zumal bei einem Wechsel der Hardware nur die streamreader.dll getauscht wird.  Skygraber ist mein derzeitiger Favorit, ist jedoch  eigens für B2C2 Chips geschrieben. Und somit wird's wohl eng. Dein SAA 7146 Philips wird vermutlich nur mit skynet für SS1 funktionieren. Da ich die Karte aber nicht wirklich kenne, sondern mir das eben "mal schnell" zusammengelesen habe wär noch ganz hilfreich zu erfahren, wo Du gestreamt hast. Hat die Karte Alice geschafft? Da wird sich bestimmt was finden.

Die KNC1 ist baugleich mit die Terratec 1200 DVB-S (?). MajorDVB unterstutzt diesen Karten (www.majority.nl).
Um SkyNet mit dieser Karte zum 'laufen' zu bringen:
. Generic SAA7146A' Treiber Installieren (http://www.majority.nl/saa7146adriver.zip)
. Im SkyNet Verzeigniss die StreamReader.dll und StreamReader.ini von diesen 'generic SAA7146A' Treiber (http://www.majority.nl/streamreader.zip) kopieren
. Die StreamReader.ini anpassen (Card=KNC)
. Eventuell die SKyNet.ini anpassen (PIDs, DiSEqC, LNB Einstellungen)

Mit SkyGraber v1.6 Beta geht es auch...
Allerdings ist das DiSEqC 'schalten' hier nicht getestet und nicht mit eine KNC selbst, aber mit eine Nova

Getestet mit folgende SkyGraber 'Provider' Einstellungen:
LNB Selection: 9750
DiSEqC: Pos A - Opt A
LNBKHz: None
Transponder: 11875
Symbol Rate: 27500
Polarity: Horizontal
FEC: Auto
Pids:
In Streamreader.ini die folgende Aenderungen/Einstellungen

So, nu hab ichs getestet (Skynet 0.9 mit Generic Driver)....Klappt aber irgendwie nich.

Sorry, war so auf KNC fixiert, dass ich nich bemerkt hab, dass man auch Card=Typhoon einstellen kann (hab eigentlich ne Typhoon, die aber eigentlich baugleich zur KNC1 ist und auch die Treiber sind identisch...)

Ich liebe es wenn ein Plan funktioniert. Und wenn ich seh wie kurz der Tread geblieben ist vermute ich mal das Du dir wohl selber auch deine Gedanken gemacht hast!!
Dennoch ist er ja nicht unnütz, er bleibt dir und anderen als "Nachschlagewerk" erhalten, und das ist für mich eigentlich immer das wichtigste. Kann ja sein das ich selbst mit dem Problem mal konfrontiert werde.

Die 'Card=KNC' oder 'Card=Typhoon' sind identisch (wie auch 'Card=Terratec', 'Card=Anubis'), und die aenderung wirds nichts bringen...

Aber, ... beim

StartDVB error: Could not setup buffering mechanism.

In StreamReader.INI die Zeile
TSBufferSize=400

aendern in

TSBufferSize=100    (oder 200, aber <400)

Die 'Could not setup buffering mechanism' Meldung gibst wenn kein (un-unterbrochen) Spiecher fuer die Datenerfassung reserviert werden kann. Beim kleinere 'TSBufferSize' gibst meistens keine Problemen, aber bei grosere Speicher kann es manchmall scheitern.
