FTPbox is an open-source application that allows you to synchronize your files to your own host, via FTP. This way, you can access your files anywhere, without having to pay for disk space on some 3rd-party website.

FTPbox makes synchronizing your files to your own host easy, so you can access them from anywhere. FTPbox supports SFTP (FTP over SSH), so that your file transfers are always safe, and also works offline, which means that any changes made while you were not connected to the internet will be applied once you get connected. In order to easily access your files, FTPbox provides you with links to them. You can use these links either to check your files in browser, or to send them to your friends in order to share the file with them.

FreeFileSync synchronisiert Daten zwischen mehreren Rechnern im gleichen Netzwerk.Außerdem kann man Sicherheitskopien von Ordnern/Dateien auf beliebigen Medien anlegen.Für die Kopiervorgänge kann ein Zeitintervall vorgegeben werden, so muss man sich nicht mehr selber darum kümmern.Auf Wunsch kann FreeFileSync die Backups komprimieren.

AutoVer is a configurable automatic or real time backup and version control system. It can be used as a simple real time backup or as a more complex version control system. The beauty of this system is that once you set it up (which is extremely simple) it does everything. No remembering to backup or to check in or check out files. Every time you save a file it is copied to your backup folder or drive. You can include and exclude certain files and browse the backups with the Backup Explorer. Great for backing up (or one way syncronising) your work or home documents to flash memory or saving every change you make to your source code or image files.
