Sofern eingestellt, sichert BackUp Maker automatisch (entweder zeitgesteuert, oder z.B. bei der Windows-An- oder Abmeldung.Die Sicherung kann gesplittet, gepackt (ZIP-Format) und verschlüsselt (256-Bit / AES) werden.Als Sicherungsziel können USB-Platten, Netzwerk,  FTP-Server oder sonstige Laufwerke ausgewählt werden - auch ein direktes Brennen auf CD/DVD ist möglich.Möchte man Backups von verschiedenen Zeitpunkten haben, können auch mehrere Backup-Generationen angelegt werden.

* Windows PE network config issue

FreeFileSync synchronisiert Daten zwischen mehreren Rechnern im gleichen Netzwerk.Außerdem kann man Sicherheitskopien von Ordnern/Dateien auf beliebigen Medien anlegen.Für die Kopiervorgänge kann ein Zeitintervall vorgegeben werden, so muss man sich nicht mehr selber darum kümmern.Auf Wunsch kann FreeFileSync die Backups komprimieren.

"Allway Sync" ist ein kostenloses Utility, über das Sie Daten und Ordner zwischen Laptops, Desktops und mobilen Datenträgern wie USB-Sticks synchronisieren können - ähnlich wie bei ActiveSync.

Zum Jahresende beschert und Easeus noch einmal eine neue Version von ToDo Backup, welches ich euch schon in der Vergangenheit ans Herz gelegt habe. Easeus ToDo Backup darf übrigens auch im kommerziellen Einsatz kostenlos eingesetzt werden.EaseUS To Do Backup ist ein kostenloses Programm mit dem ihr einzelne Partitionen in eine Image-Datei sichern könnt.

Des Weiteren können Platten geclont, Partitionen partitioniert oder auch einzelne Ordner gesichert werden. In Version 4.0 kam die Netzwerkkonsole hinzu, zwei Rechner könnt ihr in der kostenlosen Variante verwalten. Falls ihr euch die vielen Features mal anschauen wollt, hier findet ihr eine Liste. Beim Abgleich stehen Ihnen eine Reihe von Optionen zur Verfügung. Unter anderem lassen sich Filter für bestimmte Dateitypen, ein zeitgesteuerter Datenabgleich oder eine Routine zum Löschen von Daten, die nicht auf dem Quell-Laufwerk vorhanden sind, nutzen.

Notfall-CDs gibt es einige. Mit manchen könnt ihr eure Platte klonen oder andere Rettungsversuche unternehmen, ohne dabei ein lauffähiges Betriebssystem zu besitzen. Ganz frisch zu den vielen Systemen gesellt sich Redo Backup and Recovery.



Noch befindet sich das Open Source Tool in einer Betaphase, funktionierte in meinem Kurztest allerdings ohne Probleme.

Ihr müsst übrigens nicht zwingend eine CD erstellen, auch ein Booten vom USB-Stick ist möglich. Falls ihr also mal irgend einen Rechner schnell klonen müsst – denkt auch einfach mal an dieses Tool.

FTPbox supports SFTP (FTP over SSH), so that your file transfers are always safe, and also works offline, which means that any changes made while you were not connected to the internet will be applied once you get connected. In order to easily access your files, FTPbox provides you with links to them. You can use these links either to check your files in browser, or to send them to your friends in order to share the file with them.
