Die Rescue CD beinhaltet ein Knoppix sowie die Linux-Version von F-Secure-Antivirus.Ist der Rechner mit einem Router verbunden und wird mittels DHCP mit einer IP-Adresse versorgt, werden die aktuellen Signaturen für den Virenscanner automatisch aus dem Internet geladen.

Das Avira AntiVir Rescue System ist eine linux-basierte Applikation, die es erlaubt auf Rechner zuzugreifen, die nicht mehr gebootet werden können.
Auf diese Weise kann es möglich sein:
- ein beschädigtes System zu reparieren
- Daten zu retten
- eine Überprüfung des Systems auf Virenbefall duchzuführen
Das Rescue System kann nach dem Herunterladen per Doppelklick auf eine CD/DVD gebrannt werden.

Eine Rescue CD von AVG Technologies steht ab sofort für alle Privatnutzer von Windows-PCs kostenlos zur Verfügung. Das Sicherheitsprodukt war zuvor ausschließlich Bestandteil der kommerziellen Business-Produktlinie von AVG.
Die Rescue CD auf Linux-Basis kann das Computersystem im Notfall wieder herstellen, etwa wenn sich der Rechner nicht mehr starten lässt oder eine Malware-Infektion den normalen Betrieb verhindert. In diesem Fall kann das Rettungspaket auf eine CD oder einen USB-Stick heruntergeladen und als Recovery Disk verwendet werden.
Die kostenlose AVG Rescue CD ist zunächst nur in englischer Sprache verfügbar. Sie erlaubt einen sauberen Systemstart direkt von der CD oder dem USB-Stick, ermöglicht die Systemrettung nach Virus- oder Spyware-Angriffen, eignet sich zum Wiederherstellen von Windows-Betriebssystemen und enthält umfassende Verwaltungstools.
Beim Booten eines beschädigten Rechners mit der AVG Rescue CD findet die Software automatisch alle Laufwerke und scannt sie auf Viren und Malware. Alle wesentlichen Funktionen der AVG-Sicherheitssoftware sind bereits integriert. Außerdem stellt die CD eine sichere Netzwerkverbindung für den Computer her, um automatisch Updates zu laden.
Erfahrene Anwender können über einen Editor auf die Windows Registry zugreifen sowie mit einem TestDisk-Tool gelöschte Dateien und verlorene Partitionen retten. kleines update: seit einiger zeit hat sich auf der rescue-cd ein bug eingeschlichen:
auf einigen laptops mit widescreen hängt sich die gui bei der auswahl "lösche infizierte files* auf, bzw das folgende fenster mit einen warnhinweis wird nicht dargestellt.
bei wem also dieser fehler auftritt: die GUI abschiessen und per befehlszeile den scan starten. alternativ geht auch, die infizierten files nur umbenennen zu lassen, hier wird kein
warnfenster erzeugt und der fehler tritt demzufolge nicht auf.

Unter anderem lassen sich mit TRK Windows-Passwörter zurücksetzen, Rechner auf Viren überprüfen, temporärer Datenmüll entsorgen und gelöschte Dateien und Partitionen wieder herstellen.

Die Entwicklung an TRK begann 2001 als bootbare DOS-CD mit mehreren kostenpflichtigen Werkzeugen. Um die CD anderen kostenlos bereitstellen zu können, hat der Entwickler und Initiator Harakiri später Linux als Grundlage für seine Arbeit genutzt. In TRK sind viele Werkzeuge und Skripte anderer Distributionen vertreten, unter anderem Timo 's Rescue CD, Mandriva 2005, Fedora Core 3 und 4. Das Avira AntiVir Rescue System ist eine linux-basierte Applikation, die es erlaubt auf Rechner zuzugreifen, die nicht mehr gebootet werden können.
Auf diese Weise kann es möglich sein:
- ein beschädigtes System zu reparieren
- Daten zu retten
- eine Überprüfung des Systems auf Virenbefall duchzuführen
Das Rescue System kann nach dem Herunterladen per Doppelklick auf eine CD/DVD gebrannt werden.
Diese CD kann dann benutzt, um einen Rechner zu booten.

Das Avira Antivir Rescue System wird mehrmals täglich aktualisiert, so dass immer die aktuellsten Sicherheitsupdates zur Verfügung stehen. Der hier getätigte Download ist jeweils die aktuelle Version.
Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, die Updates (ca. 20MB) separat bei Avira zu laden (Download (http://dl.antivir.de/down/vdf/rescue_update.zip)). Diese können dann mit einer 2. CD oder von der Festplatte in das gestartete Rescue-System eingebunden werden.

Leute, ich verspreche euch hier nicht zuviel, diese CD, bzw. diesen USB-Stick müsst ihr einfach haben, sofern ihr ihn nicht eh schon kennt. Die Hiren’s BootCD kennen sicherlich viele, ich setze die Tools seit vielen, vielen Jahren ein. Das Problem war: man konnte die CD nicht wirklich empfehlen oder drüber schreiben, denn es waren neben den ganzen nützlichen Tools auch immer Vollversionen von Acronis und Co dabei – sprich: Warez.

Mittlerweile hat man sich darauf besonnen, Freeware einzusetzen, oder Testversionen zu nehmen. Nein, das ist natürlich nicht mehr so praktisch wie früher, dafür aber legaler. Die Hiren’s Boot CD 14 bringt ein Mini XP oder ein Mini Linux mit, falls ihr mal an einem Rechner seid und Daten sichern wollt. Mehrere Tools sind gleich eingebaut.

Wer etwas tiefer einsteigen will, der findet jede Menge anderer Tools auf der BootCD, die das Leben rund um den PC einfacher machen. Alle Tools findet man schön übersichtlich sortiert.

Unter den ganzen Tools findet man auch einzelne Bekannte, die ich in der Vergangenheit bereits hier vorstellte, so zum Beispiel Testdisk und Photorec zum Wiederherstellen von Daten, Photos – einfach allem. Es gibt nichts besseres im kostenlosen Bereich.
Auch kann man mit der Hiren’s BootCD das Windows 7 Passwort knacken, bzw. das Windows Passwort zurücksetzen. Zu diesem Zweck sind auch ein paar Tools mit drauf, zum Beispiel KonBoot, die alte Variante funktionierte bei mir aber nicht, weshalb ich immer den Offline NT / 2000 / XP / Vista / 7 Password Changer nutze, der, wie der Name verrät, nicht nur das Passwort von Windows 7 knackt, sondern die alten Systeme auch.

Ist relativ einfach zu bedienen.Wenn ihr euch die obigen Screenshots anseht, dürfte klar sein: da bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Man kann aus der Hiren’Boot CD auch einen Boot Stick basteln, auf der Seite gibt es eine Anleitung. Ob es mit unetbootin funktioniert, kann ich nicht sagen, da ich es nicht ausprobiert habe.

Wer die Kommandozeile nicht so mag, der sollte sich das Mini XP auch einmal anschauen, auch dort gibt es ein Füllhorn an netten Tools, die alle per Klicki Bunti arbeiten, was definitiv praktischer ist.
Also – definitiv ein Must Have und schon lange kein Geheimtipp mehr: die Hiren’s BootCD (http://www.hirensbootcd.org/hbcd-v140/) – vom Fachmann für Kenner ;)

Kaspersky WindowsUnlocker hilft dann weiter, wenn eine Ransomware oder andere Schadsoftware den Betriebssystemstart mit unterbindet. Um Kaspersky WindowsUnlocker zu nutzen, muss man zunächst eine Kaspersky Notfall-CD oder einen bootbaren USB-Stick mit den Kaspersky Notfall-Tools erstellen.
Kaspersky WindowsUnlocker funktioniert im grafischen sowie im Textmodus von Kaspersky Notfall-CD. Im Textmodus drückt man die Taste F10, gibt anschließend den Befehl windowsunlocker ein und anschließend Enter. Die Anwendung startet daraufhin automatisch und überprüft die Windows Registry. Das Tool bereinigt die Registry und zeigt die Ergebnisse der durchgeführten Aktionen im Root-Fenster an. This type of program is recommended when you want to take a safety measure, in case your operating system starts experiencing issues and needs to be reinstalled. In this case, a bootable disc is the first step you need to take towards fixing this problem.
The interface of the application is clean and intuitive. Norton Bootable Recovery Tool has four features available that allow you to create a CD/DVD media disc, ISO file or USB key with bootable data, as well as to update the USB key definitions.

Boot Repair functionality has been removed from Rescatux. Many people, somehow, were using Boot Repair (by default) inside Rescatux while we don’t support it.
If you feel Rescapp does not cover all the Boot Repair functionality you can fill a bug for a RFE (Request for Enhacement).
Rescapp and chntpw are now installed from a Repo. It should be virtually identical to 0.41b1 release. If something doesn’t work as well as before please report a bug so that we can fix it.
This is the last build based on Debian 8 (Jessie).
Important notice:
If you want to use the UEFI options make sure you use DD or another equivalent tool (Rufus in ‘Direct image’ mode, usb imagewriter, etc.) to put Rescatux in your USB
If you want to use UEFI options make sure you boot your Rescatux device in UEFI mode
If you want to use Rescatux make sure you temporarly disable Secure Boot. Rescatux does not support booting in Secure Boot mode but it should be able to fix most of the UEFI Secure Boot problems if booted in Non Secure Boot mode.

Mit dieser Live-CD kann der Rechner gestartet und auf Viren überprüft werden. Beim Start hat man die Möglichkeit, die Virendefinitionen zu aktualisieren. Mit dabei sind auch noch GParted, MemTest86+ und der Chromium-Browser. Wer das Tool lieber auf einen bootfähigen USB-Stick bringen möchte, kann dazu z.B. UNetbootin nutzen.

Mit der Rescue Disk kann der Rechner nach Viren durchsucht werden, ohne das das Betriebssystem gestartet werden muss. Dazu einfach die ISO-Datei als bootfähige CD brennen und den Rechner davon starten. Unterstützt werden die Dateisysteme FAT32, NTFS, Ext2, Ext3, Ext4 und Reiser. Zusätzlich ist noch ein Dateimanager und der Firefox integriert.
