Bei Cyberduck handelt es sich um eine kostenlose Software, mit der sich Verbindungen zu einem Server herstellen lassen. Dabei werden die Protokolle FTP, WebDAV und SSH Secure File Transfer (SFTP) unterstützt.

Im Vergleich zu Konkurrenzprodukten, beispielsweise das quelloffene FileZilla, macht Cyberduck optisch einen bunteren Eindruck. Es sind alle wichtigen Funktionen enthalten, beispielsweise eine Lesezeichenverwaltung, Upload und Download mittels Drag & Drop sowie die Möglichkeit, eine Web-URL zu einer Datei auf einem bestimmten Ordner zu generieren.

UFTP is a multicast file transfer solution which enables you to distribute files to multiple users simultaneously. It uses secured connections that are designed to send the files efficiently to a large number of users. The users can share a common key by using a multicast encryption scheme secured with the TLS protocol.

On the rare occasion a seek call made by the client errors or returns a file offset that was unexpected, a second call to seek is made to set the destination file offset to the proper place. However, this second seek was jumping to the wrong place in the file. This has been fixed, and a similar fix was made on the server as well.
Allow the -s (status file) option on the server to take a special value of @LOG, which allows status info to be mixed with the regular logging output.
This behavior is consistent with older versions that did this when sync mode was enabled.
