A new version has just been released, with the new feature "disc spanning". You can use it to divide a data compilation on multiple discs or ISO images, by using "Disc --> Disc spanning" from the menu.
Additionally, a couple of bugs have been fixed.

Mit der Lupo Pensuite steht eine mächtige Alternative zur PortableApps-Suite bereit. Mehr als 200 Programme und Verweise auf Online-Dienste enthält sie in ihrer größten Variante, von Firefox über den Multimediaplayer VLC und das Packprogramm 7-Zip bis hin zu System- und Netzwerkhelferlein wie KiTTY. In vielen Kategorien wartet die Lupo-Suite gleich mit zweien oder mehr Programmen auf. So enthält sie unter anderem auch den Browser Opera. 200 MByte ist der Download groß, 300 MByte belegt die Suite auf dem Stick. Die kleinere, "Lite"-Variante mit weniger Dubletten belegt immerhin noch 100 MByte.

Anders als das PortableApps-Paket enthält die Lupo-Suite nicht OpenOffice, sondern die Textverarbeitung AbiWord Plus, die Tabellenkalkulation Gnumeric und den Organizer Essential PIM. OpenOffice lässt sich aber – wie Hunderte anderer Anwendungen auch – von der Homepage nachladen. Mit der Zero-Version des Pakets, die nur den Launcher enthält, kann man sich eine individuelle Stick-Suite zusammenstellen. Der mehrsprachige Launcher lässt sich vielseitig anpassen, etwa mit Skins. Der Installer richtet, falls vorhanden, die deutschen Versionen der Anwendungen ein. Alles in allem erscheint Lupo Pensuite insbesondere in der großen Version überladen. Andererseits tun 300 MByte Stick-Platz nicht weh, und es kann immer mal praktisch sein, eine so vielseitige Suite zur Hand zu haben.
