Pale Moon is the work of a single individual, using contributed Open Source code to create a full-featured, speed optimized version of the popular Firefox browser. grepWin durchstöbert Dateien und Ordner nach komplexen Begriffen und regulären Ausdrücken. Die Freeware ersetzt auf Wunsch automatisch alle Suchtreffer auf einen Schlag.

Die Suchergebnisse werden in Listenform angezeigt. Ein Doppelklick auf die gewünschte Datei öffnet diese. Die Suche lässt sich mit grepWin mit diversen Parametern auf bestimmte Dateien eingrenzen. Häufig gesuchte Ausdrücke kann der Anwender als so genanntes Bookmark abspeichern. So lassen sich wiederkehrende Suchen mit ein paar Klicks erneut ausführen.
