FirefoxDownloadsView displays the list of the latest files that you downloaded with Firefox. For every download record, the following information is displayed: Download URL, Download Filename (with full path), Referrer, MIME Type, File Size, Start/End Time, Download Duration, and Average Download Speed.

Gibt es hier welche, die noch auf eine 64 Bit-Version von Mozillas Browser Firefox warten? Dann hab ich schlechte Neuigkeiten: ihr braucht nicht länger warten, weil das Projekt komplett auf Eis gelegt wurde. Mozillas Benjamin Smedberg hat jetzt via Bugzilla Entwickler dazu aufgefordert, keine weiteren Versionen für Windows zu basteln.

Während die 64-Bit-Ausführung von Firefox für Linux und MacOS X offiziell ist, ist man bei Windows nie über Nightlies hinausgekommen. Die Builds wären frustrierend und führten zu Missverständnissen, sagt Smedberg weiter. In der Google-Gruppe erklärt er das und lässt auch über die Entscheidung diskutieren.

Die vielen Plugins sieht er als Grund für die Schwierigkeiten, weil sie oftmals nicht in kompatiblen Versionen vorliegen. Darüber hinaus will man sich nun wohl auch eher auf sein eigenes Firefox OS und auf Windows 8 konzentrieren.
