NeatMP3 vereinheitlicht die Tag-Zusatzinformationen in digitalen Musiksammlungen. Musikfreunde bearbeiten mit der Freeware recht unkompliziert die so genannten ID3-Tags in MP3-Dateien sowie weiteren Audioformaten wie OGG, FLAC, WAV, MPC, AIFF, ASF und MP4.

NeatMP3 ergänzt fehlende ID3-Tags und sorgt dafür, dass alle Dateinamen nach dem gleichen Schema angepasst werden. Die hierfür nötigen Infos holt sich die Freeware aus den Tags.

Die Bedienung von NeatMP3 ist einfach. Zunächst fügt der Anwender einzelne Songs oder gleich alle Musikordner über den Add-Button zur Liste hinzu. Den "Output Folder", also den Ordner in dem die geänderten Dateien landen sollen, kann man nach Belieben festlegen. Mit einem Klick auf Start sorgt NeatMP3 dafür, dass die Songs wie gewünscht neu benannt werden.

So werden mit NeatMP3 beispielsweise alle Titel entsprechend der Vorgabe "Interpret - Titel - Albumtitel - Jahr.mp3" umbenannt, was der eigenen Musiksammlung sogleich die passende Struktur gibt. Fehlende ID3-Tags kann der Anwender vorher manuell editieren. Durch den Zugriff auf Online-Datenbanken lädt NeatMP3 viele Informationen auch automatisch.

Wer sich über uneinheitlich benannte MP3-Dateien ärgert und seine überquellende Musiksammlung aufräumen möchte, sollte zu NeatMP3 greifen. Dank des integrierten Audioplayers kann der Musikfreund die Songs vor dem Umbenennen auch kurz anspielen.

It’s almost impossible to remember all the movies and TV shows that you have seen so far and to recall the actors and directors’ names. This is why Media Companion comes in handy for all users who want to obtain all the necessary details about their favorite films.

The user interface is clean and you should be able to work with this program pretty quickly. The app is capable of gathering information from the Internet by accessing the IMDB database and to display various details about films such as outline, plot, stars, genre, actor, certification, runtime, director and others too. Adding a film to the main window is particularly simple as the app includes the “drag and drop” support. You can add multiple movies to the list, sort them by using the dedicated filters such as movie year, rating, alphabetical display, runtime, date added and many others.

The app works fast when it comes to downloading posters and movie trailers from IMDB and film backdrops from TMDb. Of course, all the data imported by the app can be easily edited. The file logs can be exported to a HTML list with customizable templates. Not only does it render accurate information for films, but it also provides useful information about TV shows. It automatically downloads data about episodes, actor images, posters and episode screenshots. Individual seasons can be handled separately as you can rename them by using set or custom parameters. The program also displays the missing episodes from your collection.

- The property items overview (found in the Administration menu) gained a new tool:
  delete unassigned items. This will remove all properties not assigned to any other item
  For example a category not used in software items will be removed.
- Another new tool for the properties module is the merge functionality.
  Having many categories (for example) which actually have the same meaning? Merge them
  all into one property. All references to the properties will be corrected
  (without duplication, of course).
- The Resource Editor now has find and replace functionality.

- The screen is now much cleaner and it makes the application look simpler.
- The file associations setting now also allows parameters to be defined.
- New items tab has been removed.
- Online Search will now directly save the item instead of adding the item to the

  the same database with version 3.11.1.
- ISBNdb.com has been changed and the information is of limited use now to Data Crow.
  This service has been disabled.
- Help has been updated to reflect all of the above (press F1 once in a while just for
  the sake of using it).
- The Find and Replace utility now also allows you to change one reference with another.
- Update all now refreshed the overview after updating the items (instead of updating
  one by one).

- On startup Data Crow tried to modify files in the installation folder, causing problems
  for Windows platforms. Data Crow can now be launched without administrator permissions.
- Applying settings such as the language change was only properly applied after a restart.
