The Chrome Team is excited to announce the promotion of Chrome 35 to the Stable channel for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Chrome 35.0.1916.114 contains a number of fixes and improvements, including:

Der Suchmaschinenkonzern Google hat damit begonnen, in seinem Browser Chrome unter Windows alle Erweiterungen zu blockieren, die nicht im eigenen Chrome Web Store enthalten sind. So sollen Nutzer zukünftig besser vor diversen Malware-Varianten geschützt werden.

Bereits installierte Erweiterungen werden im Zuge dessen abgeschaltet. Sie lassen sich dann erst wieder aktivieren, wenn sie auch im Chrome Web Store zu finden sind. Die Entwickler der jeweiligen Codes werden außerdem aufgefordert, ihre Produkte entsprechend einzureichen und sich an das Unternehmen zu wenden, wenn sie der Ansicht sind, dass eine Sperrung zu Unrecht erfolgt.
